Police and Protection ServicesLaw and Security OfficerAlthough all security guards perform many of the same duties, specific duties vary based on specific job responsibilities also vary with the size, type, and location of the employer. All security officers must show good judgment and common sense, follow directions and directives from supervisors, be prepared to accurately testify in court, and follow company policy and guidelines. Guards should have a professional appearance and attitude and be able to interact with the public. They also must be able to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other dangerous incidents. A security guard may be employed in a static location, or find themselves patrolling in a mobile unit. A security office may also work with a canine partner, depending on the position.

Law and Legal AdministrationLaw Clerk plus InternshipLaw Clerks function under the direct supervision of a lawyer and are employed in a variety of settings, including law firms, corporations, non-profit organizations and real estate Title insurance companies. Duties include, but are not limited to: attending settlements for the purchase or sale of land, examine contracts and obtain information about contracts so that solicitors can proceed with finalization, fill out legal forms and lodge them with government offices, interview clients and draft clauses for contracts, undertake company, business name, bankruptcy and other searches, prepare statements of evidence by witnesses, assist prosecuting or defence lawyers in court and arrange for the attendance of witnesses at court, assist barristers and senior counsel with case management.

HealthcareMedical Office AssistantMedical Office Assistants are an important part of the health care team with expanding job responsibilities. As a medical office assistant, you are often responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, filing records, and purchasing supplies and equipment. Other duties may include patient admissions, assisting with examinations, accounting and insurance billing. You will use computers to enter and access important patient information on a daily basis.
Medical Office Assistant with InternshipThe triOS Medical Office Assistant Diploma Program with Internship is an intensive 38 week program designed to prepare students for a career in Health Care. Topics of this program include: Microsoft Office Applications; Business/Accounting Applications; Medical Terminology and Body Systems; Medical Administration; Medical Office Assisting Clinical, CPR/First Aid. The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for receiving prescriptions, drug preparation, clerical and computer duties, inventory management and customer service in the dispensary. Pharmacy Technicians must at all times work directly under the supervision and guidance of the Pharmacist. The role is meant to assist the Pharmacist in the dispensing process of the product to allow the Pharmacist to have more time to provide pharmaceutical care.
Arts - Design / AnimationVideo Game Design & Development + InternshipAt triOS College, the Video Game Design and Development (+ Internship) program offers curriculum designed to support a team approach to game development. This team environment is a ‘must have’ in the gaming industry. Game creation requires a combination of skills: Programming; Designing; Art Concept and Development. Our program content provides courses that support all of these skills. Students will have the opportunity to learn, think and respond within a team, by alternating in each varying role.
Portfolio development is also an important part of our program. A well-developed portfolio is a must for employment interviews. Students will complete 5 gaming projects while enrolled in the program: Game Prototype; 2D Game; MOD Game; Java Mobile Game and 3D XNA Game that will contribute to their portfolios.
